Shogunate Arena
This collection was the fruit of a reflection carried out in close collaboration with our artist,
in order to bring quality, unicity, and to allow us to establish the foundations of what will be our game.
Each character/NFT will have his future role to play in our game Shogunate Arena.

F2E on-chain game
As owners of Shogunate NFTs, you will be able to play our Fight To Earn on-chain game, Shogunate Arena. The game will be released on Polygon. We believe Polygon is the best suited L2 chain for the Shogunate Arena.
Rewards
Each NFT participating in the game will be able to generate both passive and active rewards. Passive rewards will be paid in TOKU, our own ERC20 token, while active rewards will be paid in both MATIC and TOKU. The MATIC prizes will be funded with a large majority of our collection's royalties.
Leaderboard
One way to earn active rewards is to climb our leaderboard. At the end of a session (specific session duration will be communicated at a later time), rewards will be distributed according to your performance. The distribution will be top-heavy: Make sure to be at the top to receive the biggest rewards!
Clans
The Shogunate is divided in 5 clans, and each clans is led by a unique Shogun. While the shoguns, because of their high rank, will not fight in the Shogunate Arena, they will be able to take some important clan-wide decisions... But don't worry: Regardless of what your shogun decides, everyone will have the same chances in the Arena!

What is Shogunate?
What are the Shoguns?
The Shoguns are the rarest NFTs of the collection.
They are not included in the 7777 initial NFTs and there will be only 5 of them. Designed specifically one by one by our artist @Seiun and generated off-chain, each Shogun is unique and will be the leader of one of the five clans. Shoguns will be airdropped to lucky mint passes holders before the reveal.
What is a mint pass and how will I get my final Shogunate NFT?
A mint pass is a token that allows the owner to mint the final NFT.
A total of 7777 passes will be available and later exchangeable against a Shogunate NFT. There is no expiration date for a mint pass, once you own a mint pass, you can swap it any time after the reveal date. Due to the strong volatility of the market, the price for the mint pass has not been set yet, it will be communicated later.
Will the visuals be stored on-chain?
No..
On-chain storage is extremely expensive, making it impossible to store high quality images. Visuals will be stored first on the Shogunate's servers and then on IPFS.
Is there a public sale?
Yes.
Your best chance of getting a mint pass will be the public sale, it will be open until sold out, so don't miss it!
Are you doing anything to avoid the risk of team exploit and guarantee a fair distribution of attributes?
The generation process is entirely random and done on-chain, giving the team no mean to exploit the collection, and guaranteeing a fair distribution to our community. Each mint pass, when exchanged, will generate immediately, on-chain, a single Shogunate NFT. The smart contract is designed to avoid any team exploit or hacker exploit. Every attribute probability will be immutable once set, and the team has absolutely no control over the generation process.

What about the secondary market fees?
Total fees will be 12.5%.
It includes the 2.5% OpenSea commission fee and the 10% OxArt team royalty fee (note that the majority of royalties will be used for the prizepool of Shogunate Arena).
